The Beagle - The beagle is a gentle, sweet, curious dog. Very sociable, brave
and intelligent. Excellent with children and generally with other dogs.  Beagles
have a tendency to follow their own noses. Once their mind, and nose is on a
scent, they may not even hear you calling them. They should always be kept in a
well fenced yard, or leashed at all times. Beagles come in 2 sizes. 13' and 15' and
weigh between 20-25lbs. They also come in a variety of colors. The typical tricolor,
black and tan, red and white, lemon, and blue ticked.  Beagles are very energetic
and need plenty of exercise.  Their life expectancy is about 12-15  years. Beagles
have short smooth hair, making them an average shedder.
The Black and Tan Coonhound - Being of great disposition, the Black and
Tan Coonhound is a dog very safe to have around. An aggressive behavior is not
a normal characteristic for this breed. It is mostly tolerant, independent, gentle,
stubborn and sensitive. Being very sociable, it enjoys the company of other dogs
and humans. Being a scent hound, these dogs need to be on a leash when not in
a fenced in area. The average height is 23-27 inches tall, with the average weight
being between 50-75 lbs. Their average life expectancy is about 10-12 years.
Black and Tan Coonhound have short smooth hair, making them an average
shedder.
The English Coonhound -  Also known as the "Redtick Coonhound" are
energetic, intelligent, and active. Very devoted to it's family, it makes a good
companion dog and plays a fine guardian to its family and home.  They need
owners who are firm, confident and consistent.  Being a scent hound, these dogs
need to be on a leash when not in a fenced yard. The average height is 21-27
inches tall, with the average weight being between 40-65 lbs. Their average life
expectancy is 10-12 years. English Coonhounds have a short, hard coat, making
them an average shedder.
The Treeing Walker Coonhound - are wonderful with children and any dogs.
 In fact, their energetic attitude makes them a joy for the entire family. They are
highly intelligent and are eager to please. Treeing Walker Coonhounds thrive on a
consistent and confident handler. Being a scent-hound, these dogs need to be in
a well fenced yard, and must be kept on a leash. Their average height is 20-27
inches tall, with the average weight of 50-70 lbs. Their average life expectancy is
12-13 years. Treeing Walker Coonhounds have a short smooth coat, making then
an average shedder.
The Plott Hound - The Plott Hound is loyal and intelligent. Family is important to
this breed that loves attention from the family.  Around children this dog is
affectionate and calm.  The Plott Hound is intelligent, learns quickly, and is
courageous.  They make a great family dog. They do need a firm, but confident
consistent handler. Being a scent-hound, these dogs need to be in a well fenced
yard, and must be kept on a leash. Their average height is 20-24 inches tall, with
the average weight being 40-45 lbs. Their average life expectancy is 12-14 years.

The Bluetick Coonhound - The Bluetick Coonhound is a very intellegent dog.
 They are very loyal to their families and make excellent companions. They are
fully capable of living indoors, and they enjoy playing guardian to their family and
home. Owners need to be firm, confident and consistent.  Being a scent-hound,
these dogs need to be in a well fenced yard, and must be kept on a leash. Their
average height is about 20-27 inches tall, with the average weight being 45-80 lbs.

The Redbone Coonhound - The Redbone Coonhound is a friendly and
affectionate dog.  Family members and strangers alike get warm greetings and
enthusiastic affection.  Sweet and gentle with children of all ages, this breed also
gets along well with other dogs. As with the other Coonhounds, the Redbone
Coonhound needs a firm, confident and consistent handler.  Being a scent-hound,
